The Catskill Mountains offer a full range of outdoor activities throughout the four seasons. There are beautiful country roads for biking and running and even walking. Hiking and backpacking in the nearby state parks of New York and Pennsylvania are lovely. There are also organized activities by the resorts in the area like golf and downhill and cross-country skiing, (not in the same season).

Numerous local cultural activities abound such as music concerts and festivals, county fairs etc. Less than a five-minute walk will take you to the heart of our no traffic light village for shopping antiques and art galleries.
