Over the past 20 years Fifth Floor Farm Kitchen has been getting favorable mentions in the NYC newspapers and in magazines and books, form even as far away as Japan.

With 2 people bringing our very different distant pasts and our more recent shared pasts, this kitchen produces foods that are unique in combined ingredients and techniques. The use of organic, seasonal, locally produced ingredients as well as our own eggs, fruits, mushrooms and vegetables is an essential mark of our cuisine.

Extensive travels have broadened the appreciation of foods from Europe to Asia and North and Central America. A palate as wide ranging as being aware of recent food news to a grasp of traditional roots in the foods of, for example, China, Hungary, Mexico and the Pennsylvania Dutch. From Thai fish sauce, Italian olive oil, Hungarian paprika and American black walnuts, simple, delicious, healthy fare is both our goal and our everyday experience.
